Antique Pulley Ceiling Fans - I always wondered why the older ceiling fans did not get a reverse button. The people who designed those fans, simply too ignorant to think of used inverse in winter?
Until the temperature is comfortable at the reduced amounts of the rooms, the heat unit runs. But from the time this happens, it'll be very hot in the ceiling level.
But what if there clearly was a way to get this hot air down to the low levels where we live. The heat unit wouldn't need to work long and the savings on our utility bill could be substantial. The temperature would basically equalize at ceiling and floor levels, meaning the heat wouldn't be squandered keeping the ceilings warm.
But someone said that the draft made by the ceiling fans would be too much for winter months. Until it hits the floor, then it'll come down. Now it'll travel, toward the centre of the space, back in at floor level and then back up to the ceiling fan.
