Crystal Bead Candelabra Ceiling Fan Light Kit - I wondered why the older ceiling fans didn't have a reverse button. Were the individuals who designed those fans, only too dumb to think of using inverse in winter?
The heat unit runs before the temperature is comfortable at the reduced amounts of the rooms. But by the time this occurs, it'll be very hot at the ceiling level.
But what if there clearly was a strategy to get this hot air down to the lower levels, off the ceiling where we dwell. The heat unit wouldn't have to work long and the savings on our utility bill may be considerable. This mix would basically equalize the temperature at ceiling and floor levels, which means that the heat wouldn't be wasted keeping the ceilings warm.
But someone said that the draft developed by the ceiling fans will be too much for winter months. So someone else said "well, let's only turn the ceiling fans and allow the air blow up until it hits the ceiling and then it will go flat in most ways until it hits the walls. Afterward it's going to come down vertically until it hits the floor. Now it then back up to the ceiling fan and will go, toward the centre of the area, back in at floor level.
