Hunter Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan With Light - I wondered why the ceiling fans that were older didn't have a reverse button. The people who designed those fans, only too stupid to think of used inverse in winter?
Until the temperature is comfortable at the low amounts of the rooms, the heat unit runs. However, from the time this occurs, it'll be very hot in the ceiling level.
However, imagine if there is a way to get this hot air down off the ceiling, to the lower levels where we live. The heat unit would not need to work long as well as the savings on our utility bill could be considerable. The temperature would essentially equalize at floor and ceiling levels, meaning that the heat would not be wasted keeping the ceilings warm.
But then someone said the draft created by the ceiling fans could be too much for winter months. So someone else said "well, let us only reverse the ceiling fans and allow the air blow up until it hits the ceiling and then it is going to go horizontal in all directions until it hits the walls. Until it hits on the floor, then it's going to come down. Now it then back up to the ceiling fan and will travel, at floor level, back in toward the middle of the room.
